All I want for Christmas..

I hear those sleigh bells ringing... So Christmas 2013 is fast approaching. And you will soon realise that I am a tad obsessed with Christmas - you could even call me fanatic. The tree, the lights, the food, the smell of orange and cinnamon mixed together... Ahhh what more could you possibly want?! I have put together some items that I am hoping Santa will pop down my chimney this Christmas!
 

 
I have had my eye on these boots for a long time now - they are just pretty pricy! But the colour of them is gorgeous and the gold lining and buckle is mesmerising! Maybe I will just have to keep lusting after them...
 

 

 I really need a good staple black clutch and this River Island one fits the bill. I love the snake skin pattern on it and the gold chain is also handy for just putting over your shoulder. It is a reasonable price for a necessity of your wardrobe.

I really need a perfect everyday watch for work and university. This is one of my favourite Fossil watches as its simplicity is flawless, I also really like the ones with the diamonds so I am torn on which way to go. This one is a complete bargain especially when I have also had my eye on Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors watches!

 

I have never owned a charm bracelet which I actually like and are willing to buy charms to put on it but I seriously love this Thomas Sabo bracelet and I really like the fact that only one charm is needed to make the bracelet look pretty and full. I am a complete sucker for pearls and I would be a happy bunny if I found this bracelet in my stocking!!

I have used my friend's Naked palette and it is so useful with most of the necessary colours included in it and now there are rumours of a Naked 3 palette coming out! I would appreciate any Urban Decay palette to be honest!

Cath Kidston + new notebooks = my type of present.

This may be a weird one but I really have been craving after a jumper with the letter R on it. It is bizarre but hey ho.

This is my Santa list so far and I hopefully I have been a good girl to get some of these things! What do you want this year for Christmas?

So I have put together a wee post as I know I have been seriously lacking recently in the blogging department. I have chosen a couple of outfits/items from different places that I love to shop!

It is my boyfriend's birthday in two weeks and I still need to find the perfect outfits for the different events so the post is also inspiration for things that I may wear.

My choice of Topshop dresses is a little bit pricy but I can't resist the embellished dresses or the sequins. The shift dress is also an amazing colour. I loooove the winter pastels at the moment especially cornflower!

In contrast to the winter pastels, I love monochrome. Black is my favourite winter colour to be honest. I especially enjoy the patterns on these ASOS dresses too. These dresses are so affordable and can be dressed up or down to whatever the occasion needs.

This is my favourite set as all of these black mesh and chiffon dresses are £15 and under! Absolute bargains and such different styles! I really like the polka dot dresses and hope to get a top from H&M in the same style as the bottom centre dress only it is wine red.

There is so many good choices at the moment for all different price ranges and for all different styles and colours to suit everyone.

Prize Night 2013

One of the highlights during my school life in Glenlola was the Prize Night every September where the girls would be recognised for their great sporting and academic achievements. I have been going for three years due to my results and getting top for three years in Religious Studies. But this was a special night as it was my last ever prize night. Previous years I just had to go in my school uniform but as I am a "school leaver" I had to choose something to wear; something dressy but not inappropriate basically! I had already bought my outfit before receiving an official invitation but I was glad I bought the dress when I had seen it!

My dress was from Zara, I have been really impressed with the Zara range at the moment and this dress was fantastic! The material is quite thick which is perfect for autumn as although the pattern is pink and red floral there is some black through it allowing the dress to be worn with black tights in the autumn! I got the Mary Jane shoes from Topshop, I wore them for the first time at Prize Night and I got really bad blisters and cuts so I would advise to break them in and soften them first for example wearing socks and walking about the house. But I enjoy the fact that they will be perfect for most occasions!

 

 

I absolutely adore my Tiffany & Co bracelet that I got from my auntie for my 18th and I equally love my Pandora birthstone ring also from auntie for my results! For my nails I used the bright pink Gelly Barry M nail varnish and it worked like a treat as per use!

 

My sister was receiving athletics honours for coming 2nd in Ireland in 4x100m relay back in June and she got the top mark in Year 11 Physical Education. 

 

 

 

 

 

I think my outfit was perfect, some people wore heels but I was terrified of falling flat on my face onstage. It was such a lovely evening especially seeing all my past teachers but as they wished me well in the future it really hit me that it was probably the last time I would be in Glenlola but now I am ready for what university has in store for me and I am excited for what will happen in the future! Are any of you at university and have any helpful hints or tips? Let me know!
